We had an employee that we suspected stole two night deposits in November and December of 2010.  He was subsequently terminated.  We believed that he knew our operation so well that he would return for yet another easy theft. We are a small family-owned business.  After some research, I purchased the digital wall clock camera in February of 2011.  We did not share that information with our employees.
 
Low and behold, we were burglarized in the early morning hours of April 11, 2011.  The suspect smashed the front plate-glass window and entered the store.  He was recorded as he went behind the counter and attempted to pry loose the sentry safe that had been bolted to the bottom of the cabinet (after his termination) containing some night deposits.  As he frantically moved back and forth, he was easily identified as our former employee, who had no idea we had installed a camera.  He also cut his hand on the safe, leaving behind a blood stain.  All of the video evidence was turned over to the police.
 
He was subsequently arrested and interviewed.  He denied everything, even stating that his former employers were just trying to blame all of their thefts on him because of his shady background.  He was then presented with snapshots of the video recording.  His response:  "just put me in jail".  A few days later, he plead guilty to the Burglary and received 2 years in prison.
 
In a nutshell, our NannyCam paid for itself in less than 60 days!  We are very happy customers.

I purchased a Motion Detector Security Recorder from NannyCam.com last year.  I absolutely LOVE it!!  I have been able to find out what is “Really” going on in my house while I am at work and my fiancéé is supposedly on line searching for jobs.  The video doesn’t lie, even if “He” does!

I can’t begin to tell you how many unanswered questions and curiosities I had until I saw the answers digitally preserved on that SD card the 1st day after monitoring my home.

 

The only draw backs are that this model goes through batteries daily so be sure to put it where it can be plugged in, and it doesn’t work as well in very low light areas (I moved it around the house a couple of times), but with normal lighting, like from the sun light through the windows, it has a Great picture!! 

 

I am so happy with my previous purchase that I ordered the Air Purifier Digital B/W Recorder today, for my living room that doesn’t get very much light during the day.  And, since I have allergies and other purifiers, it wont look out of place at all.

 

Also, the customer service is Terrific.  Very informative and helpful.

I bought the iPod docking station  camera system last week, thank you again for getting it out to us by Wednesday morning on short notice.  The camera works great and it looks exactly like a regular one.  After 2 days of taping we were able to capture our nanny getting ready for a walk and then leaving our son in his stroller on our porch - unattended.  After she put him on the porch the stroller started rolling out toward the street and was fortunately stopped by a single flower pot that sits 2 feet from the curb.  If the stroller didn’t stop on the flower pot, the stroller would have undoubtedly capsized and our child would have suffered major injuries/death since he is only 4 months old and wasn’t strapped into the stroller (also viewed on the cam).   Without the nanny cam we would have never known this happened since our son is thankfully fine.  Of course we fired our nanny this morning, and we couldn’t be happier we bought the camera and were able to capture this event.  Thought you would be interested in hearing this and to know that your camera, and your efforts in getting it sent to us overnight, really helped us.  Thanks again.

My husband and I wanted to write and let you know what happened after we purchased the sleuthgear air purifier from your company.  Our nanny is someone we have known for years and so we trusted her.  But when our 2 year old began to shy away from her, we wondered why.  After reviewing the video, we were able to see that she was spending several hours watching tv, playing on the computer and even napping on the couch.  We love the date and time stamp on the video because we were able to tell exactly how much time she doing what she wanted vs. nuturing our son.  It turned out to be less than an hour she spent actively taking care of him in the 8 hour days she had with him.  When she played with him and cared for him she was nice to him, (thank goodness), but we did not bring her into our home to care for our child that way.  Needless to say we let her go and she didn't even ask why.  We have a new nanny now and she is always watching out for our baby.  We have recommended your nannycam cameras to several of our friends.  Thank you so much.

After several months of thinking my son was into drugs, we put one of your nanny cams into his room and got the answer.  We got one of the clock radios and put it on his dresser.  He used it to wake him up for school and never had any idea it had a camera in it.  Turns out his friends were doing drugs with him after school (and during school while they skipped at our house).  We got him some help and he seems good now.  I know the warning signs and won't hesitate to use the camera again if I think there is a problem.  Thanks again.
